VS, BT or V may publish this Daytona replica watch later, but I am more looking forward to the QF version, because it will be heavier and the movement will be the genuine 4131 free-sprung.

New Datejust from Clean?

In recent days, you might have seen the following picture in a lot of social media platforms, it is a Datejust watch with ombre green dial that was just published by Rolex in April. You can not get the genuine watch in the boutique, but can get a replica right now. This is quite ridiculous, some factories are always keeping an eye on new product launches and taking action very quickly. You may notice the sticker on the replica watch, it saying “3235” and “CLEAN”. “3235” means the movement model the replica watch is using, “CLEAN” means the factory’s name of the watch. SH3285 vs DD3285

Why V? This black Daytona with 4131 movement is also from V. Like the 40mm Submariner above, its hands’ finish has the best quality, the hands appear more three-dimensional, while on VS, the hands look a bit flatter. While the chamfering on hour markers is rounder. For the 116500 white Daytona, perhaps the replica made by VS is better, because the white color on VS looks closer to the genuine.

VS Factory Explorer 124270 Improvement

In 2024, VS published the replica Explorer I 124270, this watch firstly appeared in the market with the iconic DD3235 developed by VS, later the factory developed the 3230 for the Explorer and Oyster Perpetual. VS Factory Daytona 126518 Turquoise

Any Rolex watch with turquoise dial will attract people and is sold at high price, it is the same for a replica Rolex. Do you still know the last Rolex with turquoise dial? There are flaws on the dial, the three subdials have correct position and correct functions, but I noticed that the central round part on each sundial stands a bit higher, the round golden edge of the small dial is a bit thinner than that on the genuine, the round edge’s golden tone looks slightly different from the yellow gold tone on the hands.

The replica watch is equipped with DD4131 movement, which is used by three factories, VS, BT and Clean Plus. The rubber band comes with a length combination of E and F, which is suitable for wrist size from 17.3cm to 18.2cm, if you have a bigger wrist size that that, for example more than 19cm, you will need to order longer rubber band by yourself. Second, the bezel rotation is too smooth. The finish of other places is in quite high quality level.

By the way, VS Factory currently does not make this YachtMaster, but they are about to publish the Daytona 126518 with turquoise dial.

This is the latest V3 edition of Daytona 116508 made by VS Factory, which was published in last month, I just got this watch. Before V3, VS has published the regular weight version and V2 increased weight version of this Daytona, the V2 has a weight of about 160 grams, this V3 is heavier, which is 181 grams. Besides the weight, VS factory also made other improvements on this replica watch. This Daytona is also made by BT and ZF, but not as good as this V3 from VS.

On V2, VS increased the weight of the case, on this V3, some people said VS added extra weight on the bracelet, but I think they have not. As far as I know, the main weight is added on the case and movement holder. The inner material of the case is mostly likely the tungsten steel, although VS has never publicly admitted it. Some factory added too much weight on the case back, the result is the case has been thickened, but on this V3 version, the case thickness is still 12mm.

On this V3, the factory also improves the golden color on the whole watch, the gold tone looks very close to that of the 18K yellow gold on the genuine watch. Also on the dial, the green color is also improved, it does not look too bright, when you swing the watch, the sunburst finish on the dial looks greenish-gold. The solid central shaft of the hands is very close to that of the genuine watch.

On the case, there is another place which I think is better than the one made by other factories, that’s the engravings on the back of the lugs. Some factories use too much tungsten steel in the case when making this Daytona, and when they make the engravings on the lugs, they can not make the engravings so clear and clean. However on this V3 Daytona from VS Factory, the engravings on the back of the lugs look very clear and clean, without any blurring, especially the Dog’s Head hallmark. Anyway, these lugs’ engravings are much better finished by VS Factory.

Conclusion

This V3 Daytona from VS is 181 grams, genuine watch is about 205 grams to 208 grams, so there is still about 25 grams weight difference. Some other factories make this watch with a heavier weight, which is more than 210 grams, but weight does not mean everything, we need to check the other details, while the overall finish on this replica Rolex Daytona from VS is much better, so I think VS is the best choice for this Daytona.

On the picture above, this is a section of links I removed from a Day-Date made by some factory, the Day-Date and Daytona made by them have the heaviest weight, but the links on the bracelet are not good, you can clearly see the crack and the links are not fully plated with gold. You need to be very careful when choose a high-end replica Rolex watch with increased weight.
