The two pictures below show the Dandong 3235 movement, also called VS 3235 or Custom VS 3235, it is only used by VS Factory, you can find this movement in their Datejust, 41mm Submariner, Oyster Perpetual, YachtMaster, Sea-Dweller. This is the best clone 3235 movement in the market, known for its high stability and long power reserve that is up to 72 hours.

One movement from Dandong should be avoided, that is the 938, which is equipped by the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Q1372520. This replica is mainly made by two factories, AZ and ZF. This movement’s stability is ok, but the power reserve is around 45 hours. If you want a Submariner from Clean Factory, I do not suggest you buy the 41mm model, the 40mm Submariner with Dandong 3135 movement is a better choice, it is more cost-efficient.

Shanghai 7750. This is not a very good movement, but it is being widely used in the replica watches. In the past, Z Factory random used Shanghai 7750 and Dandong 7750 in their IWC Portuguese Chrono replica watches, people who got the watch with Shanghai 7750 was unlucky because this movement is not stable.

In the last, it will be a movement from Hangzhou. The movement is 72a0, which is being used in the Datejust and YachtMaster of EWE Factory. EWE modified its look to Rolex 3235. Dandong 3235 movement will never be given to Clean, at least not now, this is the only advantage VS has in competing with Clean in Rolex field, perhaps Clean will get the Dandong 3235 when VS factory is forced to be closed.

Clean has been always using Shanghai 3235 movement in their Datejust and 41mm Submariner, and they just improved this movement and the new movement will be used by them soon. Please check the movement pictures in the end of the article. The left one in the picture is new Shanghai 3235 movement just developed by Clean. The right one is Dandong 3235 movement from VS. Did you notice the difference? There are extra golden engravings added on the auto rotor. By the way, Clean claims that the new Shanghai 3235 will have a power reserve of about 70 hours, which is very close to that of Dandong 3235. I watched some reviews and they said the power reserve time is true, but some reviewers also said even Dandong 3235 only has a power reserve of about 60 hours.

Once the stocks of Datejust and Submariner with old Shanghai 3235 movement being sold out, Clean will start to use the new version of Shanghai 3235 movement.

The development of Clean factory

The intense competition between Clean and VS started. During their competition, there was an interesting thing happend, VS found the factory that always supplied ceramic bezel for Clean. Later, VS developed Dandong 3235 movement and firstly equipped in the 42mm YachtMaster, and then equipped it in their 41mm new Submariner and Datejust. After seeing the fast development of VS, Clean took an action and developed a Shanghai 3235 movement, whose decoration is not as beautiful as Dandong 3235 movement of VS, the power reserve of Shanghai 3235 movement is about 45 hours, which is shorter than 72 hours on Dandong 3235 movement. At this time, Noob and AR could not follow the steps of VS and Clean, although they still have a large amount of customers.

In March or April of 2020, I can not remember exactly in which month, Noob and AR were forced to be closed because of the raid, and then VS was also closed. Now only Clean survived. Second, Clean decided to use the Dandong 3135 movement in their Submariner. From that time, Clean completely beat VS in 40mm Submariner. Third, about in 2022, Clean developed Dandong 3285 movement and continued to improve their GMT-Master replicas. Clean now is the boss in super clone Rolex, and VS can compete with Clean just because they still own the Dandong 3235 movement.
