About Aquatimer, I liked it before, especially those models with two colors on the bezel, they look more classic than modern models that were published in recent years. Before, there are various style of Aquatimers, but now, the look of Aquatimer looks boring, there are no Aquatimers models that look amazing or refreshing, the design or material makes the modern Aquatimer look solid and strong enough, but I really think that IWC seldom used new materials in the production of their diving series Aquatimer, while other brands like Panerai, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Hublot all positively adopted new watch-making materials. The IWC watch I am going to introduce today is an Aquatimer special edition watch, the back of the watch has sharks engravings, maybe the purpose of IWC publishing this watch is to raise people’s attention in protecting the sharks or animals in the sea. If the dial has a a shark logo, the watch will look cool.
The replica is from V6 factory, it is a replica watch with chronograph function. The round case is very big, measured in 44mm in diameter, not including the size of crown and chrono buttons. The case is fully made of 316L stainless steel, the bezel, mid-case and back make up this case, which is almost 17mm thick. I trust the work of V6 factory, the case finish is very good, generally speaking, if your replica watch is from big factory like Noob, AR, V6 or ZF, its case finish really can compare with genuine watch, some case parts can be interchanged with genuine.
The dial has structured design, the inner bezel is bevelled, it is in black, which is in a high contrast with the grey dial in the center. Two subdials are positioned at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock, both subdials have very perfect details that look so close to genuine watch, the two subdials also have the same functions as genuine, small dial at 6 o’clock is for seconds display, while the small dial at 12 o’clock is for minute-chronograph display. Under dark condition, you will see two lume light color on this watch, green and blue lume color on the dial, the lume is much stronger than genuine watch, but I think it can not last as long as genuine.
No doubt, this is a high quality replica watch. But if you are going to buy an IWC Aquatimer replica, I do not recommend this one, first, it is not the entry-level Aquatimer model, second, there are other IWC replicas in our market that are better than this one.
