BBF 5711

These differences are not flaws, actually genuine watches also have had these differences on different versions.

This Nautilus 5711 is a very hot replica watch, many customers bought it from 3K before and made some modifications by replacing its dial and date wheel, now I think the one made by BBF is very good enough, but the case still has one place that can be improved. If you take both watches in hand and you will find some details on 3K are still better. A friend of mine also got BBF 5711 for his clients, but several his clients finally asked him to change to 3K 5711. So, sometimes when a factory said their watch is better than the one that has been in the market for years, do not rush to buy it, especially the watch from a new factory.

However, the appearance of these watches is a big challenge to 3K Factory. They will absolutely continue to make improvements on the Nautilus 5711, so currently it is not the right time to make the purchase, besides, I think 3K Factory will also improve the dial and movement engravings in future, if they won’t, they will lose this market, so I really expect a perfect version from 3K Factory.

OME, which just appeared in this industry, has forced PP Factory to make improvement on the movement of replica Nautilus 5712. Last time, PP Factory made deeper engravings on the 240 movement of replica 5712, I talked this in previous post at. OME only made the replica Patek Nautilus 5712, including the stainless steel model and golden model. I know you guys have seen a lot of reviews about OME 5712, some reviewers said OME makes the best replica 5712, which is much better than the one from PP Factory, here I took the golden 5712 from OME to make a simple comparison, please chck the pictures below.

On the first picture below, the left golden 5712 is from OME, the right stainless steel 5712 is from PPF but has been replaced with SW dial, hands and moon phase. Some reviewers said that OME uses the same SW watch parts, but I still found that SW dial, hands and moon phase on the right watch are better. However, we can see that OME uses a solid axis for the hands.

On the second and third pictures, it is the case comparison. The middle case is thinner on OME 5712, but the entire case on both watches has the same thickness. On the end of the lugs, its shape is finished so well on OME 5712, it looks much better than that on PPF 5712. If you want to replace the dial, hands and moon phase on PPF 5712, you need to pay a lot extra money, the total price will be more expensive than that of OME 5712.

At the beginning of this month, PPF announced that they will make some changes on two watches, one is Nautilus 5712, the other is Overseas 4500V, both are very popular models, especially the Nautilus 5712, which has been a best seller in recent years. Now, improvements on both watches are completed, in the following I will show you what improvements have been made on both.

First, the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712. Before this improvement, it is V3 edition, after that, it is still V3. On this watch, previously two improvements have been made, on V2, the power reserve becomes real. On V3, the clasp was changed. Now, PPF made another important improvement on the movement, whose golden engravings become deeper, please check the comparison pictures. I put two movements together to make a comparison, it is easy to tell. On the older version, the golden letterings seem to be printed, while on the newer version, they are engraved, there are obvious depth.

Second, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V. The improvement also made on the movement, its balance wheel is changed to the position of 7 o’clock, actually very close to position of 8 o’clock, you can see the pictures of V1 and V2 below. However, after the change on the movement, the case thickness increases from 11.2mm to 11.5mm. Besides, the date adjustment also changes, on previous V1, rotate the crown clockwise, the date will change. While on the V2 edition, you need to rotate the crown counterclockwise to adjust the date. Some people said the date font becomes thicker on V2, I did not notice the difference.

The dial is blue, it has central hours, minutes, seconds, date, month, week, moon phase and 24-hour display, it is easy to adjust them through the buttons set on the four corners of the case. Through the button on the case at 2 o’clock, you can push to change the month. Push the button at 4 o’clock, the date will change. The moon phase will also change by pushing the button at 8 o’clock. Through the button at 10 o’clock, you can adjust week display. By the way, the moon phase display is like genuine, it only moves a little bit each day. And the dial color looks very close to that of genuine, much better color than that on their Nautilus 5712 from PPF. However, there are two defects I can found on the dial, first, the date font is a bit sunken, the date on genuine watch is closer to the dial plate. Second, when you pull out the crown to adjust time, the second hand will stop, while genuine watch won’t.

For this 5726 replica, PP Factory also offers two other colors, grey and white. The white dial looks good, at least it does not have color difference.

I got the Nautilus 5711 from 3K Factory and changed its dial and hands, after the work, I do not think it is necessary to do this, first, it is very expensive to buy a dial, hands and date wheel from SW Factory, second, after replacing the original dial and hands of 3K, the replica watch still does not become perfection.
