I previously introduced the V3 version of the Audemars Piguet 15407 from THB Factory, which is currently considered one of the best versions available on the market. What is rather strange is that shortly after THB released this watch, a new name called OCTA appeared in the market and also launched an AP 15407, claiming that its version was the best available.

Later, I saw many people saying that OCTA was selling products previously made by APS Factory. However, as far as I know, APS has not returned to the market. It is possible that someone has contacted some of APS Factory’s former component suppliers and is now selling several Audemars Piguet models under the OCTA name.

Today, I am going to introduce a customized 15407 and make a brief comparison between it and the version from THB Factory.

It is said that the customized 15407 uses a CNC case, you can see the difference between them below.

The watch on the left is the customized 15407, while the one on the right is from THB Factory. As you can see from the area marked by the red arrow, the spacing in this part of the case is different between the two watches.

There are other differences on the balance wheel. The customized 15407 uses a double balance. The THB 15407 only has one balance wheel.

The color of the balance bridge looks slightly different. The balance bridge on the right is lighter in color, while the one on the left is darker and much closer to the color of rose gold.

The balance wheel on the right THB 15407 is slightly bigger. As indicated by the red pen, the outer rim of the balance wheel is slightly thinner on the customized 15407.
