Just several days ago, I saw some video reviews again about the Nautilus 5712, but it is another 5712 model with platinum case, grey dial and black leather strap. They said this is the latest V3 edition PP Factory just released, I do not know if PPF has made the improvements on this grey Nautilus 5712G when they published the blue one last time. Anyway, this grey one becomes much better in dial color, moon phase indicator and movement engravings. please check the pictures below.
Observing these pictures above, we can see obvious sunburst finish on the dial, the dial is good, but it is not perfect, in my opinion, the dial from OME 5712 is even better than this one. I can find many flaws on the dial if there is a genuine model beside. First, the white lume material on the hour markers looks slightly from the one on the hands, simply speaking, the two types of white colors look different, this is a very common issue which the factory still has not solved. Second, the central hour hand and minute hand do not have a solid shaft, so do the other three small hands. To solve these issues, the best option is to buy a dial from SW and replace.
The engravings on the movement plates are deep, I mentioned this before. But the engravings on the ACE 240 movement below look deeper and neater, that ACE 240 is the closest clone PP240 movement in the market, it features a free-sprung balance wheel with weights, however, I do not suggest you buy, this movement is not stable. I know some dealers are selling this watch with the ACE 240 movement at a very high price.
