This replica watch was firstly produced by several small factories like V9, TW, MX, MKS, later PPF saw this watch is very hot in the market and they also introduced its replica in 2025. I also reviewed the VC 222 from PPF on December, 2025. Even PPF made some improvements later, but it still has flaws. Today, I want to bring a comparison review on this watch between PPF and MKS.
The left watch is made by PPF, the right one is from MKS Factory.
PPF made two main improvements on this blue Vacheron Constantin 222, first, the lume material does not look that pink like before, second, they changed the date font, but its shape is still wrong.
The dial color on both watches does not have too much difference, both are close to the dial color on genuine watch. When you get two watches in hand and compare, you will notice that the frosted texture on the MKS dial is more pronounced.
Look at the color of the lume material applied on the hour markers. Under natural light, the left one looks slightly pink, while the lume material on the right watch from MKS looks slightly green, but not too green.
The following two pictures show the MKS dial under sun light. In my opinion, both PPF and MKS have slight lume material color if compare with genuine watch.
Look at the centre shaft of the hands, it is much bigger on MKS, not good, while PPF’s is small and good.
Actually both MKS and PPF use the same base movement on this replica watch. The movement is not the true super clone movement, there are extra plates added.
The Malte logo finish on the buckle also looks a bit different, the right one is from PPF.
Conclusion:
Whether made by MKS or PPF, this replica VC 222 is not perfect. PPF sells this watch at a much higher price than MKS. If PPF could improve the dial lume material color and date font, I believe more people will choose it from PPF.
