New Datejust from Clean?

In recent days, you might have seen the following picture in a lot of social media platforms, it is a Datejust watch with ombre green dial that was just published by Rolex in April. You can not get the genuine watch in the boutique, but can get a replica right now. This is quite ridiculous, some factories are always keeping an eye on new product launches and taking action very quickly. You may notice the sticker on the replica watch, it saying “3235” and “CLEAN”. “3235” means the movement model the replica watch is using, “CLEAN” means the factory’s name of the watch. But is this replica Rolex really made by Clean factory? Absolutely not. Even before Clean closed down, this factory was already selling Rolex replica watches in the market under the name of the Clean factory. The “3235” used in this watch is also not the best DD3235. You need to be very careful when buying online, the sticker on the watch can be changed to any factory’s sticker.

There is another new watch published in last week, it is the IWC IW388108. The replica was only made by TW Factory before, now TW is still a good option if you take the price into consideration, but this one made by APS now is the best one. 5168G Aquanaut

Patek Philippe Aquanaut has been popular for many years in this industry, in the past, people only knew the replicas of Patek Philippe Aquanaut made by 3K and ZF, and since the 324 movement was exclusively used by 3K factory, they have occupied nearly three-quarters of the market share of replica Patek Aquanaut before. Because it had exclusive control over the 323 movement, 3K Factory made very few upgrades to its Aquanaut models. There were noticeable flaws on the color, dial and movement engravings, this also explains why 3K was able to sustain a number of watch parts suppliers at that time, because many buyers would purchase a 3K watch and then source replacement dial, date wheel and hands from parts suppliers like SW for further modifications. Since 2025, the 324 movement is no longer exclusive to 3K factory, a lot of new names have appeared in the replica Patek Aquanaut field, such as BBF, DDF, APW, these factories made Aquanaut replicas 5167 and 5168, on the replicas Aquanaut from them, we can see they indeed have corrected the flaws that could be found on 3K Aquanaut, especially the 5168G green Aquanaut, you can see the picture below, it is the Aquanaut from BBF, its color looks much better and very close to the genuine.

Feeling the pressure, perhaps in 2025, 3K Factory made improvements to the movement engraving and the color of the lume fill on the dial, but in these two aspects, it still didn’t do as well as BBF. I do not want to say BBF Aquanaut is perfect, no replicas in the market are perfect, if you compare it with the genuine, you can also find flaws on BBF, for example, the hands are slightly narrower, the engravings on the lugs are not as neat as that on the genuine and some differences on the dial.

These flaws could not be avoided on a replica watch. I suggest you replace the dial with SW’s dial and date wheel, but now I do not think it is necessary, because after being replaced with SW’s date wheel, some date fonts will not aligned very well.

Genuine Aquanaut 5168G is made with white gold, so whether the replica is made by 3K or BBF, there is a weight difference. The one from BBF has a weight of about 103 grams. There are indeed increased weight version of the 5168G Aquanaut, they are made by three factories, including DDF, APW and Victory. Their prices are very expensive, for example, the one from APW has a price that is nearly 300 USD higher than the BBF model, it is about 120 grams, now I realize that the profits of these factories producing weighted watches are truly enormous.

And on SH3285, the red wheel stands a bit higher above the movement plate. The red wheel on DD3285 is almost on the same horizontal line as that plate.

Golden Screw

Another more important difference lies in golden screw on one end of the balance bridge. On SH3285, it can be unscrewed and removed. While on DD3285, that screw can also be unscrewed but could not be taken off. Look at the two pictures below.

Today, I will show you the pictures comparison on the blue Royal Oak 15500 AP replica watch between the two factories, like the grey 15500 I shown you before, the main difference on the blue one also lies in the dial color and bracelet end links.

Before showing you the pictures, I would like to express my opinion first. I do not think VS 15500 is better than APS, many dealers posted videos reviews and said VS 15500 is better, actually many of these reviews are not honest. I still recommend the one made by APS. The status of APS factory in AP replica is like what Clean factory used to be for replica Rolex. For a replica Rolex Daytona or Submariner, I think many people will still choose the one made by Clean if this factory is still alive. AP 15400 and 15500 are flagship models of APS Factory, they won’t just hand over this market to others, so in such a short period, the 15500 from VS factory will not surpass the one from APS factory.

The left watch is from VS, the right watch is from APS. The dial color looks slightly different. The blue color on the right looks darker, I do not know which one is closer to the genuine. APS 15500 has a stronger reflection on the dial, I like this finish more on the APS 15500, athough VS claims that their 15500 dial finish is closer to the genuine. Just like the Rolexs made by Clean Factory before, the hands have more three-dimensional polishing, while VS claims that their flat hands are more correct, I think more people prefer the hands of the Rolexs from Clean. While the nameplate of “AUDEMARS PIGUET” on VS dial is better, it is more tridimensional.

About the movement, APS Factory offers two options, super clone 4302 and super clone 4302 with free-sprung balance. The 4302 from VS is a false free-sprung movement, and the movement from VS does not have advantages if being compared with the movement from APS.
