Two improvements from PPF

Second, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V. The improvement also made on the movement, its balance wheel is changed to the position of 7 o’clock, actually very close to position of 8 o’clock, you can see the pictures of V1 and V2 below. However, after the change on the movement, the case thickness increases from 11.2mm to 11.5mm. Besides, the date adjustment also changes, on previous V1, rotate the crown clockwise, the date will change. While on the V2 edition, you need to rotate the crown counterclockwise to adjust the date. Some people said the date font becomes thicker on V2, I did not notice the difference.

Clarification

Last time, in my article “Is it the right time to buy the Le Mans Daytona 126529LN from Clean?”, I said this Clean Le Mans Daytona has a false 24-hour chronograph function, many watch fans said I was wrong, so yesterday night I got another Le Mans Daytona watch from Clean to make a test of its 24-hour chrono again, I pushed the chrono button and let it run for one hour, later, the small hand on the 9:00 subdial came exactly at 1:00, please check the following picture, it is right between 24 and the 2:00 black marker. This means Clean Le Mans Daytona indeed has a real 24-hour chrono. But I did not test for 24 hours.

However, why was the last test result different? The reason may be the movement in last watch is not the latest SH4132, which means very few pieces in last batch may have been mistakenly installed with the old version SH4132 movement. So, if you want to order this Daytona from Clean, before shipping, please ask your supplier to test the chrono to ensure it is a real 24-hour.

VS Factory Heavy Weight Daytona

Just in last week, VS Factory announced that they will produce the heavy weight version of 12xxxx sereis Daytona, now these watches available with seven different models, five models with rubber band, two ice blue Daytona with stainless steel bracelet.

Are these heavy weight Daytona good? My answer is yes. It is not the first time for VS Factory to make the weighted Rolex, do you still remember the 42mm YachtMaster made by them? It is still one of the best-selling super clone Rolex watches, the latest version has come to V3, the weight of that YachtMaster is about 148 grams, which is very close to that of genuine. About the new heavy weight Daytona from VS Factory, please check the pictures I share below, the ones with rubber band, each has a weight of about 138 grams.

Every one who wants to buy the following Daytona may have one concern, will the case of the watch peel off? Will the electroplating layer of the case peel off? VS say no, and I trust them. I think there are a large amount of people who have bought the weighted YachtMaster 226659 from VS in past several years, VS also uses tungsten steel in the case of this watch, but does the case of this watch peel off? There are still no complaint about this on this YachtMaster, every watch fan seems to be very satisfied with the quality. So I trust that VS Factory also has done a good work on the newly released weighted Daytona.

Before VS, both QF and APS have made the weighted 12xxxx series Daytona, another factory named Gold also made the weighted Daytona before, but I do not know if Gold makes the new 12xxxx series Daytona. The version of QF has come to V10, APS Factory also continues to improve the quality, but both watch makers use Shanghai 4131 movement, this is not good, after all Clean has already decided to change to Dandong 4131 movement, which is more recognized. QF Daytona is about 155 grams, APS Daytona is about 151 grams, the inner material is tungsten steel and the outside is wrapped with stainless steel, if not processed well, the case will become darken as time goes by and some even peel off. The weight of the VS Daytona, you can see below, is about 138 grams, which is still about 20 grams lighter than that of genuine watch, but VS Factory claims that the case has the same weight as that of genuine, the only weight difference lies in the band and buckle. So, I offer you a solution, you can buy a Daytona from VS, and buy a genuine watch band with buckle to replace on, and finally you will get a perfect watch.

I do feel happy when seeing the new weighted Daytona coming out from VS, this is a great chance for them to win more market share in competing with Clean. The price they offered is also very reasonable, it is almost the same price as the Clean Daytona with regular weight, you know, the weight of Clean Daytona is about 108 grams.

I have an idea, why VS does not do real white gold or yellow gold wrapping on the case? That will make the case never peel off and won’t cost too much, if they do this, many watch fans would not mind to spend more to get such a super clone.

Does Clean Factory Have an Online Business Website?

Clean Factory has been in this industry for a lot of years, they have a much bigger business than before and need to deal a lot of things each day with their distributors, so there is no need to open a website to earn that little money, by the way, opening a website online will also increase their risk, it is not worth. Some people said they have bought good quality replicas of Day-Date from Clean Factory, but as far as I know, Clean does not make Day-Date Rolex watches. Is it the right time to buy the Le Mans Daytona 126529LN from Clean?

No. We know Clean Factory just published this watch, from the announcement to availability, it lasts for several months, now it finally came out, and many watch fans think the best one is from Clean and they are going to purchase it. I do not think it is the right time. We should wait or you can still buy it from the Q Factory.

QF is the first factory to produce this Daytona, they have the stainless steel and yellow gold models, while Clean currently only makes the stainless steel one. And QF also offers two options in weight, regular and heavy. The heavy weight version is about 176 grams, I mentioned on my blog before, QF added extra links on the bracelet to gain weight. It is not worth to spend much more money on the heavy weight version. After being twice upgraded, the SH4132 movement in QF Le Man Daytona can track 24-hour chrono on the sundial at 9 o’clock.

For this Daytona, it is the first new model from Clean after our holiday, when promoting this watch, Clean saying it is also 24-hour chronograph at 9:00, I have made a test to see if it is real 24h, pushed the chrono button at 2:00 and let it run, one extact hour later I found the small hand has come to the first black marker on the 9:00 subdial, which means it is not real 24-hour chrono.

The weight of the Clean Daytona 126529LN is about 137 grams. Clean does not offer gain weight version. Looking at those pictures below, the black dial seems to have no sunburst finish, on QF 126529LN, there is slight sunburst treatment.

There are two rumors about this Daytona in the market, one is QF uses 18K white gold plating on the case, that’s not true, the case is still 904L stainless steel made. The other is this Daytona uses DD4132, no, actually it is SH4132, both QF and Clean use SH4132.

My conclusion:

If you really like this Daytona and want to buy a super clone, I suggest you buy the regular weight version made by QF. Currently Clean is not a better choice, perhaps they will improve next.

Two new models

First, it is the 24H Le Mans Daytona, made by Clean Factory, actually Clean already announced their plan to make this watch before our new year holiday, now it finally came out. They said the watch has better sunburst finish than the one on Q Factory, well, really necessary to compare them side by side some day, the latest version from QF is V8 and Clean does not have the heavy weight version. On the Clean Le Mans Daytona, the subdial at 9 o’clock is 24-hour chronograph counter like genuine watch, the movement inside is a super clone 4132.

The second new model is Panerai 1518 from VS Factory.

Who is the leader in the market of super clone Rolex Daytona?

I think it is Clean Factory. Just in the beginning of our Chinese New Year holiday, Clean had decided to replace the movement with Dandong 4131 in the 12xxxx series Daytona, few people knew this news at that time, and now in the Clean 126500 Daytona models, the movement has been Dandong 4131, which is exactly the movement used by VS Factory. And for the newly released Daytona, Clean will also use this movement. When the Dandong 4131 firstly came out, I thought VS will become a strong competitor for Clean, because this movement was developed by VS, but now the situation has changed, Clean decides to use the Dandong 4131 movement now, VS lost the only advantage. Since the birth of the Dandong 4131 movement, watch fans seems to have a high recognition with the Daytona made by VS, the 12xxxx series Daytona made by VS must have been more popular than the one from Clean, otherwise, Clean would not change the movement. So, for VS Factory, a major opportunity to catch up with Clean in Daytona area has been lost, the only chance. Several years ago, it is exactly such type of an opportunity that makes the Clean Factory what it is today.

People will say VS Factory has a better price than Clean, but for those who are really looking for super clone Daytona watches, they do not care the price, they do not mind spending $50 or $100 more to get one in better quality. As far as I know, VS Factory not only has a better price, but also send one extra rubber band for each Daytona.

There is no need to mention the other two factories BT and ZF, BT seems to have disappeared, no body talks them now. So today if you are asking me the best place to buy a super clone Rolex Daytona, I will say Clean. Today, I will share some pictures of the new Daytona which Clean Factory just published.

Before posting the pictures of the new Daytona, there is a movement comparison picture I want to share first, the left one is the Shanghai 4131 which Clean used before, now both Clean and VS are using the Dandong 4131 in the right, you can see the difference.

The bezel has correct engravings whose thickness is very close to that of genuine watch. Some watch fans do care the thickness or shape of every letter of the engravings “UNITS PER HOUR”, I think Clean makes the best, VS also has the same finish, this is not the big difference between the two factories.

The hour hand and minute hand have very good polishing finish on the edge, even you check very close, no burr can be found. Every hour makrer also have very smooth edge. Each watch has an unique serial number engraved on the inner bezel.

The dial finish is a big advantage of Clean Daytona, on the three dial pictures above, the sunburst finish on the main dial and small dials is very good. Clean Factory always focuses on the finish of the details.

On the Daytona with black rubber band, the clasp is new, the golden model has Au750 engraving. The extension locking system is more convenient to operate. The full stainless steel Daytona still using the old clasp. By the way, the buckle coming out from the factory is separately put in a plastic bag, not installed on the watch.
